COCONUT RICE








My hubby is a good food lover and also a good food critic .This rice varietie is one of his favourites.It is very easy to make ,no need to make any coconut milkIthink it is little different also aloo-mutter kurma is the best comb. for this and the recipe is like this......




INGRDIENTS:-




basmathi rice-11/2cup




grated coconut-1/2cup




green chillis-4 or according to your taste




onion sliced-1small




cashew nuts-10-15




raisins--20




ghee[or]oil-1tebsp




cumin seed -1tesp




cinamon-1inch peaces3




cloves---4




cordomom-4




ginger garlic paste-1tesp




METHOD:-




1.wash and soak rice in 3 cups of water for 10 min.




2. Heat ghee in a pan add cinmon peaces,cloves,cordomom,cumin seeds let them popup and add cashews and raisins fry for 2sec.




3.now add sliced onion and green chillis fry till onion become soft then add grated coconut fry till coconut gives a good smell add ginger garlic paste and mix well




4 after few sec. add rice with soaked water salt to taste mix well and cover and cook till done




5 remove from fire and leave for 10 min. to 1/2 hour then serve .




serve hot with aloo kurma
