Cooked basmati rice --- 11/2 cup
Mint leaves --- 1/2 cup chopped
Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup chopped
Onion --- 1 small sliced
Green chilies --- 3-4 cut in to half's
Butter or ghee – 1 tab sp (I used butter)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tea sp
Cinnamon --- 1 inch piece
Cumin seeds --- 1 tea sp
Cloves – 3-4
Cashew nuts – 1 tab sp broken in to small pieces
Salt to taste
Melt butter in a fry pan add cumin seeds, cinnamon
,clove, and broken cashew nuts and fry till cashews become golden colour
Now add sliced onion and green chilies and fry till onion become transparent.
Then add ginger garlic paste and stir once and add chopped coriander and mint leaves stir well and add rice and salt to taste mix well and sprinkle very little water cover with a lid and leave in a very low flame for 5 min.
Serve hot with raita and any side dish
