Rice flour -- 1 cup
grated jaggury -3/4 cup
grated coconut - 1/2 cup
cardomom powder - 1 tea sp
ghee -- 4 tab sp
oil for frying

for rice powder:--- Soak the rice in water overnight and drain the water next morning. Pound the rice to a powder. you can use this leftover powder for murukus.If you soak 1 cup rice you can get opprex.11/2 cup rice powder
Scrap the coconut without black part.. Heat a very little water in a pan Add grated jaggery, when it bubbles add grated coconut and mix flour slowly on stirring constantly.add cardomom powder, Make it to a smooth dough.Add ghee(2tsp)and keep the lid, allow to cool.Remove and add the 2tsp ghee and knead well.Make walnut size balls out of the dough .Apply little oil to a plastic paper and press the ball as 'vada' shape.Deep fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
(Adding ghee to the dough will give the sweet a very good aroma)
store in a airtight container, this will stay for 1o--15 days
