Ingredients:--
Urad dal - 1 cup
Beaten rice (poha or aatukulu) - 1 cup
Idli rava - 4 cups
Cooked White rice – 1 hand full
Cooked White rice – 1 hand full
Curd - 1/4 cup ( not very sour)
Salt - to taste
Method:--
Soak the urad dal 2-3 hours before soaking rava and poha
make a fine paste of urad dale with adding little water
Mix the poha and rava together and soak.
Now add cooked rice and make a rough paste of idli rava and poha
Mix the two pastes. Make it a little more thicker than normal idli batter
If the weather is cool, add the curd to the mixture and allow it to ferment overnight. If the weather is hot/humid add the curd, one hour before Add salt and mix the batter well
Prepare idlis using normal idli making procedure
