BANGALADUMPA KOBBARI KARAM KURA (POTATO CURRY WITH COCONUT MASALA)


Potatoe s --- 500 gms
Onion --- 1 big
Greatde coconut(fresh) --- 2 tab sp
Garlic --- 5 cloves
Cumin seeds --- 1 tea sp(dry roast)
Red chilli powder --- 1 tea sp
Oil --- 1 tab sp
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds -- 1 tea sp
Afew curry leaves
Turmeric powder -- 1/2 tea sp
METHOD:----
1. Boil potatoe s, peel and cut in to 1/2 inch cubes and keep a side.
2. Griend onion,coconut,roasted cumin,garlic and red chilli powder with little water in to a coarse paste and keep a side
3. now heat oil in a fry pan add mustard seeds let them popup then add curry leaves and then add potato cubes, salt to taste and turmeric powder and fry till light golden color in a low flame.
4. now add ground paste and fry for 5 min or till nice aroma comes out switch off the flame.
serve hot with rice and any dal or sambar.
